Μελισσοκομικό Πλάνο 2018-Beekeeping in Greece 2018

Hello, my friends today we will analyze a beekeeper’s plan for the year 2018. This is how a nomadic Greek beekeeper works with the beehives for a whole year. In this video we will talk about moving the beehives around Greece. These are the orange groves that starts early spring in Argos, during May we will go our beehives in Vitina mountain to strengthen, perhaps collect some vanilla fir honey which for five years has not come out, in June will make a split of our colonies in various parts of Greece Greece such as the chestnut trees in mount Pelion, the thyme flowers in Spetses island, the fir trees in Lamia,
oak trees in Nafpaktia during August we will enter Evia island and stay there until the end of the year for the famous Greek Pine honey, around November and December, we will try to get some heather and arbutus honey in the island of Spetses or in the mainland of Greece. I want to mention that we will drive around 60,000 kilometers this year. If you subscribe in our channel you will be able to see all of them evolving in front of your eyes, also, you will see the various manipulations of beehives. Multiplications or divisions. Swarm prevention and honey collection. How we put into the beehive a fertilized bee Quinn etc. I want to thank our subscribers who are around six hundred now. I also want to say to the subscribers who are not from Greece (around 10% of our subscribers) that we will upload our videos with subtitles, so you can understand whatever we say, by the time a video uploads the subtitles will need approximately 48 hours to come up together. We will reveal in this year, if we can get honey, if we cannot get honey. We will do our plan, bees will make their own plan, weather plays a very important role. It will be a nice trip and an experience that we can share it with you. We will upload around 70-100 video this year, meaning that we will upload about 2 videos per week. If you will become subscribers, you will see these videos right on time!!! For those who are not from our country, and interested in subtitles, simply press the button for subtitles and this will automatically translate into your language. YouTube is not known for very good automatic translation of subtitles but the general message you will be able to understand. We have some hives here in Athens that we have brought here to prepare for the spring. This period is very important for the later growth. Also, the fact that we are in Greece plays a very important role because we have year-round sunshine and the weather is very good as today 2nd of January.
