Hello. I am Hina. Komatsuna and radish sprouted.
(Komatsuna is Japanese mustard spinach) Both are very similar because they are both Brassicaceae. I should display the name tag. Continue to water every morning until they get a little bigger. This time, I plant a tomato. A variety of tomato seedlings are sold at the home improvement center. I chose cherry tomatoes from many varieties. These were also purchased with the seedlings. Use a large flowerpot to spread the roots of the tomato. For soil and stone, I use the ones that remained last time. Let’s start the preparation. First, put a stone on the bottom of the flowerpot. Put the soil on top of it. Komatsuna and radish planted last time will be able to grow with just the fertilizer that is in the soil from the beginning. However, tomato needs a lot of fertilizer, I will add fertilizer when it is necessary. Make the soil flat and harden a little. Hardening the soil is to prevent the soil from becoming too soft during long growing periods. It is also to stabilize the prop. For the tomato root, it does not matter if the soil is a little hard. When the soil is ready, water it plenty. Give the amount that leaks from the bottom of the flowerpot. Let’s also water the seedlings. Make a hole of a size that just fits the seedlings, and plant the seedlings removed from the pot. Make the seedling soil and the flowerpot soil the same height. Then stab prop. Because of the horizontal growing nature of tomatoes, it is necessary to support the stems to extend upwards to grow in a limited area. Fix the prop and stem of tomato with twine. Twine ties loose. It is because the stem of the tomato gets thicker. Now, this completes planting of tomatoes. Let’s water every day not to be too dry. I water it once enough every morning and once again when the soil is dry. I want to show a bigger sapling a little next time. See you again.
